ELDER C. W. KINNARD came to this state [Texas] from Louisiana. He was ordained in Arkansas, and both in that state and Louisiana made full proof of his ministry. His name first appears on the minutes of Waco Association as pastor of Blue Ridge church, in 1866. For some years after that he was a leading pastor and worker in the Association. His death occurred about 1875. The Association, after his departure, declared that he has been an “an unobtrusive, unassuming, quiet, persistent, continuously indefatigable worker in the Lord’s vineyard.” Glorious record.
