EDGAR T. POTTER was born in St. Albans, Vermont, September 15, 1826. When ten years old he came to Maumee with his parents. His father, Freeborn Potter, was for many years one of the best known fishermen on the Maumee river. He died in 1872, and his wife years later, aged 80 years. Edgar T. married Miss Mary Cox, of Maumee, in 1849. She died December 27, 1887. They had three children. Mr. Potter served four years in the Fourteenth Ohio Volunteer Infantry Regiment. He has been in the fish business for many years. He is a Democrat. Post Office address, Maumee.
