Texas Obituaries & Death Records | Erath County Sad Accident.—While the little son of our fellow townsman, Dan Smith, was engaged in climbing a tree after grapes his foothold gave way, and the little fellow was precipitated to the ground, a distance of about 14 feet. He was picked up, and did not seem to be much hurt. Later in the day it became apparent that his fall would prove fatal, the internal injuries being beyond the control of physicians. The accident occurred Wednesday morning, and he died in the evening. Heartfelt sympathies go out to the bereaved family.
